But don't worry, it's warranted... because this week, the girls are covering a book by the man, the myth, the legend... Stephen King. So without further ado, we bring to you Pet Sematary by Stephen King. We are so excited to dive into the world of horror!!! Neither one of us have ever really frequented true horror books, and so this was a treat for us. Join us as we discuss dead pets, dead babies, and the true moral question - "is dead sometimes better?" Now, that may be an obvious answer to most, but would the answer changed if you could keep YOUR family intact?

This week, the pod will discuss but one of these infamous retellings... we bring to you Elektra by Jennifer Saint. Though the Greek myths are always captivating and dramatic, we find that they can, at times, be hard to understand in their original texts. As Greek re-tellings have taken on popular demand, we find ourselves enjoying these stories told in modern, easy to understand language by these niche, kickass authors. Join us as we discuss the DRAMA that these absolutely bat shit crazy Greeks get involved in as they betray, murder, and seduce their way through life.

This week, the pod will discuss the super popular book-turned movie, (I'm sure you've guessed it)... It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. All the begging to Hallee paid off, and we are doing another CoHo!!! But we had to promise this was the last one... so this is it ladies and gents. Truly the reason we decided to cover this episode is because we felt compelled to not only discuss this controversial and emotional book, but also to chat about some of the drama surrounding the movie, press tour, and the author herself. You won't want to miss this - it could in fact be our most polarizing episode yet!

After all, we're all just "normal people" when it comes to navigating the tricky world of love. This week will cover Normal People by Sally Rooney. Heyyyy friends!!! It's officially fall season, which means pumpkin spice lattes are being injected into our veins as we head back into the world of school and work. Fall also means an end to our summer romance binge, and bringing you a more contemporary style novel. We had so much fun reading this, and shockingly, the roles are reversed this week. That's right, the girls are bringing you Just for the Summer by Abby Jimenez. Guys.... not only are we bringing you a SUPER popular book that it seems everyone and their mother has read this summer... but dare we say this is our BEST EPISODE EVER!?!?!
