The Resurrection & The Life - PT 1

The resurrection of Christ is the foundation of the Gospel Message. Throughout the New Testament we find countless references to this miraculous event, the cornerstone of our faith. Jesus was not the first person to return from the dead. There are Old Testament examples of people coming back from the dead, and Jesus Himself raised several from the dead in the gospel letters. However, they all died again. But Jesus lives and reigns forevermore!

"And He is the Head of the Body, the Church, Who is the Beginning, the Firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence." (Col. 1:18)

Jesus was the first ‘born’ from the dead. He was the first to conquer death and was raised in His Incorruptible, eternal Body. He will never die again. Being that Jesus is the first born from the dead, indicates He is not the only one who is ...
