In this episode, I sit down with Kaleb Dahlgren (@kalebdahlgren) - Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College student, founder of an advocacy program called Dahlgren's Diabeauties which provides support to children living with Type 1 Diabetes and author of "Crossroads - My Story of Tragedy of Resilience as a Humboldt Bronco". We discuss life with diabetes, how the Diabeauties came to be, what the experience of writing a book about his life was like, and he shares his perspective on life, loss, as well the importance of mental health awareness, choosing positivity and building mental tenacity.
