On January 5th, 1983, 10-year-old Louise Bell was kidnapped from her bedroom window at her Hackham West home in Adelaide, South Australia. The abduction and murder of Michael Black in January 1989 and the molestation of another boy later that year.

The court heard it was not just the DNA evidence that pointed to Pfennig as the killer, but also what he said and did in the weeks, months, and years after the 10-year-old girl's disappearance.
