He Just Vanished off the face of the Earth. Liverpool - 1987

It has now been more than 30 years since a 15-year-old vanished, never to be seen again by his family and friends.

Mark, who lived in Walton with his family at the time of his disappearance, would now be 49 years old.

He'd had an argument with his girlfriend and was last seen at a bus stop outside the Jolly Miller pub in West Derby.

Mark’s mum Dot Hughes said: “When Mark was going with this girl he’d always say ‘Mum, get my best trousers and shirt ready to go. “So, I got them ready on the night he went, and it was my little fella’s birthday on the day after he went missing.

“And I was trying to get stuff ready, you know, for the party the day after.
