Karol Santistevan is an occupational therapist specialized in mental health, utilizing equine and animal assistance therapy. She's the founder of Ropes and Roses Therapy Services in Casper, Wyoming, where she integrates nature-based therapy approaches to support individuals with autism, PTSD, and other neurodevelopmental challenges. She mentors several students per year who will be future practitioners and professionals. In addition to her clinical work, Carol teaches at Casper College and continues research as best practices in the field of occupational therapy. She's a clinical specialist for autism spectrum disorder, ASDCS, and an accredited DIR floor time practitioner. Carol is on the board of the University of Wyoming Organizational Leadership.
