Dorie is a comedian/story-teller/joy-bringer who believes that caffeine is keeping her alive, popcorn should have its own food group, dry-cleaning saves marriages and that true joy comes from knowing we are worthy of God’s love in the middle of all our imperfections. 

She has been speaking and performing stand-up comedy since 2006 for audiences coast-to-coast and around the globe. Who else can say they have performed on a stage in a Chick-fil-a parking lot and for a group of Syrian refugees? Not many people.
