The post, Elijah: Showdown | March 9, 2026 appeared first in person at Lakemount Young Adults at 7:30pm on Monday. Please join us!
Pastor AJ continues our series on the life of Elijah with a message from 1 Kings 18:16–40, unpacking the powerful showdown on Mount Carmel.
As the message concludes, he challenges us with two important questions:
- What idols in our lives are trying to fill the space that only God can fill?
- What do we need to place on the altar of our lives and ask the fire of God to consume?
