Off The Record for Capsized: elite girls’ rowing, loyalty, pain, teamwork — and a Hulu series in the works. Then she talks coaching young women at Row LA. In this heartfelt episode of LA Off the Record, Tami Goveia sits down with Courtenay Hall, founder, former CEO & editor-in-chief of BELLA Magazine—and reveals how her glamorous career in luxury publishing never overshadowed what she knew to be true: her family is first and foremost her definition of beauty. She shares how love, connection, and everyday moments with those closest to her ground her philosophy, humanizing the aspirational world of fashion and beauty. Courtenay empowers women to define beauty on their own terms—through inner contentment, personal style, happiness, and what truly matters most—rather than chasing narrow media ideals.
