• COMEX Silver also closed near a nine-month high of $24.77 per troy ounce amid broad rally in industrial metals.

• Both Brent and WTI Crude Oil, closed the week with more than 8% gains, boosted by Chinese demand optimism.

• Natural gas prices have plummeted almost 25% since the start of this year, mainly due to the warmest start to winter in 20 years.

• In the U.S., the focus will be on retail sales, producer price inflation, whereas in China market participants will be looking for GDP data.

• Dollar weakness might persist, as market participants are ramping up bets that the Bank of Japan will exit it’s ultra-dovish stance.
