Episode notes
Jai Gajanan! 🙏
In this episode of the Sant Mahima Podcast, we reflect on Adhyay 9 of Shri Gajanan Vijay Granth and the spiritual lessons revealed through the divine leelas of Shri Gajanan Maharaj.
We begin with the remarkable story of Govindbua Taklikar’s violent and uncontrollable horse, which becomes completely calm in the presence of Shri Gajanan Maharaj. The episode then teaches an important lesson about honoring the vows and promises we make before God and the saints.
The chapter culminates in the deeply devotional story of Balkrishna of Balapur, a devoted follower of Shri Ramdas Swami. When Shri Gajanan Maharaj appears during the Ramdas Navami celebration, Balkrishna is given a profound realization that the outward forms of saints may differ, but the Atman the divine essence is one.
Adhyay 9 reminds us of the power of faith, integrity, devotion, and the grace of the Guru, while encouraging us to look beyond external forms and recognize the deeper spiritual unity within the saints.
