As we celebrate Black History Month, I am honored and excited to share this great conversation with someone I deeply respect and admire for their exceptional example of leadership, Dr. Bernard Toney Jr.
Dr. Toney is a former White House Medical Officer skilled at collaborating with governmental agencies, non-governmental partners, and global partners to develop medical plans, infectious disease mitigation strategies, and public health preparedness at the highest level of government. He is a highly decorated Army combat veteran, with over 35 awards, who served three (3) tours in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.
He is an excellent example of what living, leading and leaving a legacy for generations to come looks like. Dr. Tonery, Congratulations on your achievements, service and continued commitment to excellence.
