It is fair to claim:

1. that this dysfunctional society is exactly what we deserve.
2. It is also fair to claim
   1. that this society, dysfunctional though it may be...
   1. is really nobody's fault.
   2. We have let it become what it is
      1. collectively - all of us.
      2. We're all at fault here.

Realizing this is who/what we've become:

1. it's time to address our contributions to the current situation
2. while discussing wtf we're going to do about it
3. to make things improve for all of us.

AND THEN, doing something about it!
