Episode notes
This week on Internet Friendsy, we’re diving into four wild friendship dilemmas in an episode titled “Fake Friends | Reading Reddit Stories.” First up, a group of teenage friends goes indoor climbing, only to realize one of them exceeds the weight limit. When the group leader suggests they stay to climb, she’s called a “bad friend.” Who’s the AH here?
Next, we meet a man who was once in love with his straight best friend and spiraled into a toxic pattern of lies and manipulation to get closer. Years later, he’s moved on, but seeing his old friend’s contact info has him second-guessing everything. Should he reach out?
Then, two friends fly to the UK, only for one to be stuck overnight at the airport while the other checks into a hotel. The stranded friend feels abandoned—who’s in the wrong?
Lastly, we have one friend trying to play neutral between two others who can’t stand each other. She finds herself caught agreeing with both until they accuse her of being two-faced. Who’s the real AH?
And, of course, one of these stories is totally fake! Which one do you think it is? Listen in and take your guess!
