Authorized Profile: Finding Your True Self "In Him"

"Who are you?" It’s a question the world asks us constantly, but the answer isn't found in our achievements or our failures—it's found in our attire. In this episode, we dive deep into the spiritual symbolism of the Priest’s Crown and Turban to uncover the secrets of a "God-given" identity. We journey through the stories of Gideon, who saw himself as the "least," and Peter, who feared his failures had defined him. We discover how God uses divine intervention to swap our "negative self-speak" for a royal perspective. Using Revelation 3:11 as our guide, we discuss the very real danger of "spiritual identity theft" and how distraction can cause us to lose our grip on the crown of victory. What you’ll hear in this episode: The Power of Proximity: Why identity isn't about individuality, but about being "joined to the Vine." The Turban of Truth: How to align your mental disposition with the Word of God to reflect the Mind of Christ. Grace as Empowerment: Moving past the idea that Grace is an excuse for weakness, and seeing it as the strength to say "no" to ungodliness. Living from the Seat: Understanding our position in the heavenly realms (Ephesians 2:6) as the only "authorized profile" God supports. Join us as we learn to walk in the responsibility of our royal priesthood, putting on the garments of love, compassion, and authority.

Ponder, Personalize, Practice: The Meditation Blueprint

In today’s episode, we explore the vital connection between your Identity and your Mindset, focusing specifically on the spiritual discipline of Meditation. In the garments of the Priest, the crown represents our royal identity, but it is the turban—the mindset—that protects it. We often live at the mercy of our five senses, but Biblical meditation is the bridge that allows our quickened spirit to take the lead over our soul. It is the powerful practice of pondering, personalizing, and practicing the Word until it becomes our primary perspective. Just as food sustains the body, meditating on God’s truth steadies the soul, builds emotional strength, and prevents us from caving to the pressures of human logic. When we meditate, we aren't just thinking; we are 'rehearsing the divine attributes' within us, ensuring that our lives reflect the 'unseen realm' rather than our temporary circumstances. Join us as we learn how to drown out the noise and align our hearts with the mind of Christ.

Stop Guessing, Start Inquiring: Finding God’s Direction for Your Day

Ever feel like you’re flying blind when it comes to life’s big (and small) decisions? This episode dives into the "priestly garments" of the Old Testament to show us that God never intended for us to wander through life alone. By looking at the Ephod and the Breastplate, we discover that divine guidance isn't just for ancient history—it is a key part of your identity today. Key Takeaways: A Tool for Your Crisis: Just as David used the Ephod to ask God "Shall I pursue?" during a personal disaster, we have access to divine communication for our own "raiding parties" and life crises. The Heart of Decision-Making: The Breastplate of Decision was worn over the heart, reminding us that God’s guidance is tied to His love for us and our community. Your Personal Guide: You don't have to wonder about your next minute. The Holy Spirit is promised to guide you into all truth and tell you what is yet to come. Hearing the Way: Through Christ, we have the promise of hearing a "word behind us" saying, "This is the way, walk in it," whenever we face a fork in the road. Identity in Action: Our "priesthood" means we are vessels of divine purpose, equipped to make decisions that advance the kingdom in our everyday setting

Jesus I Know, Paul I Recognize — But Who Are You?

In the spiritual realm, you can’t "fake it 'til you make it." This episode explores the hilarious but cautionary tale of the sons of Sceva, who tried to use Jesus’ name as a magic cheat code and ended up losing their shirts (literally). We’re diving into why true authority isn’t a religious spell, but a reflection of the Father's character, essence, and likeness. It’s time to move past borrowed faith and discover a "Sonship DNA" that the invisible world actually recognizes.

The Fatherless Generation: Reclaiming the Blessing of Order

Divine order isn't a theory; it’s a lifestyle. In this episode, we pull back the curtain on the "structure of reality" to show how God uses human relationships to shape our eternal identity. By looking at the 30 years Jesus spent under Joseph’s roof and the "way of life" Paul shared with Timothy, we see that God doesn't just grow us in isolation. He sets us in families. We explore how spiritual fathering is the practical engine for the formation of Christ in us—moving us from being "students of a book" to "sons and daughters of a household" who can effectively carry Kingdom authority in the real world.

Roots of Relationship: Finding Maturity in God's Family

One Family, One Identity We’re leaning into what it means to grow up together in the Father’s house, moving from religious routine into true family life. Our Shared Journey Growing into Maturity: We’re discovering how spiritual fathering helps us all mature from infants into sons and daughters who can lead in our own lives. Equipping the House: These relationships are gifts meant to equip every one of us for service, building our collective strength in Christ. Staying Anchored: Together, we gain the discernment to stay grounded, protecting our family from being tossed about by confusing doctrines. Relational Authenticity: We’re trading performance for an authentic impartation of spiritual DNA, centering our home on prayer and real connection. Reflecting the Father: Our true authority isn't in words, but in "configuring" our character to look exactly like our Father.

Identity and Inheritance: Understanding Your Spiritual Growth Track

In this episode of our Spiritual Fathering series, we delve into the reality that maturity is not merely the passage of time, but a deliberate transformation of character. We discuss how the five-fold ministry—apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers—exists specifically to nurture and prepare us until we move past spiritual infancy. Together, we explore the four biblical stages of our growth: Nepios: We begin as infants, unable to speak or function on our own, and easily tossed about by every new teaching. Paidion: We progress to children in training, secure in the knowledge that our sins are forgiven but still requiring guidance. Teknon: We become sons and daughters with enough maturity to interact with the Word, yet we remain humble and subject to spiritual authority. Huios: We reach the stage of mature sonship, where we finally possess the character to accurately represent our Father’s business to the world. We conclude by acknowledging that a "Huios" is someone led by the Spirit who does not shrink from discipline. It is through constant practice and the training of our senses that we transition from milk to solid food, becoming the manifested sons the world is waiting for.

Under the Shadow: The Power of Spiritual Covering

In this discussion, we explore the biblical principle of "covering" as a vital source of spiritual safety, mentorship, and rest. Centering on Psalm 91, we reflect on how dwelling in the "shadow of the Almighty" provides a literal and spiritual shield against fear and destruction. We emphasize that this divine protection is often practical, manifesting through the leadership of spiritual fathers and the established order of God’s house. Through the story of David and Samuel, we illustrate how David sought refuge at Naioth, where Samuel's spiritual authority created an atmosphere so potent that David’s enemies were incapacitated by the Spirit. We further examine Isaiah 32, noting that as mature believers, we are called to be a "refuge from the storm" and a "shadow of a great rock" for those in need. Finally, we warn against the "shadow of Egypt"—the danger of seeking security in worldly systems or personal ambitions—which ultimately leads to shame rather than the peace found in God’s arrangement.

The Tongue as a Mirror: Measuring Your Distance from God

This discussion explores the spiritual connection between one’s speech and their intimacy with God, emphasizing that the tongue acts as a "spiritual thermometer" that reflects the true state of the heart. Drawing from James 3 and Zephaniah 3, the speakers highlight that reckless or defensive speech often stems from pride and a lack of the fear of the Lord, whereas a heart close to God honors His divine image in others. Ultimately, they conclude that an untamed tongue reveals a spiritual distance from the Creator, calling for a life where speech is governed by humility and a constant awareness of standing before God.

The Tongue: Collapse of Reverence

In this episode, we explore the spiritual weight of our words, noting that our speech serves as a form of divine dominion. We discuss how ungodly speech toward others desecrates the divine image they carry, as every human bears the imprint of divine design. By examining the "collapse of reverence," we see how our reactions to stress or disappointment reveal the true distance between our hearts and God. We confront the reality of "lip service," where religious performance masks a lack of true intimacy. Ultimately, we strive for sanctified speech, asking for a guard over our mouths so that we only speak what builds up and benefits those who listen.
