Good evening. Idaho. I'm Aaron Jolly. That steady drumming on your roof? That was about a third of an inch of rain overnight. And the sky isn't finished yet. A cold front is charging through right now, slicing the state into two different worlds. In the next 24 hours. Down in the Treasure Valley, you're sitting at 36 degrees with more rain on the way. Here's the strange part — thunderstorms develop after 9 P.M. Tonight. That's pretty wild for early March. Some of those storms could pack gusty outflow winds to 45 miles an hour. You hold at 36 degrees tonight. Push east and the story turns wintry fast. Eastern Idaho is right at 32 degrees where rain mixes with snow overnight.
