When Israel turned to rising suns

And cast the truth aside,

The Sabbath lay forgotten then,

The covenant denied.

The glory left the temple courts

And lingered on the hill,

Then Babylon brought desolation—

Fulfilling Heaven’s will.

Watch and understand the signs,

The pattern stays the same;

When men forsake God’s holy law,

Destruction surely came.

Let him understand the call,

When final signs appear;

Arise and flee to Christ alone,
