If you were with us at the Paragon Boardwalk in Hull to see Carter perform live this summer then you'll be excited to hear him dive deeper into the Surfer Girl story, and how Carter got to where he's at now in his solo career after the amicable split of Aer. Carter was 1/2 of the reggae rap duo that saw much success in the 2010s, with their first two albums both charting in the top half of the Billboard 200; the second of the two boasting a spot in the top 10 US rap, indie, rock, and alternative charts. A feel-good sound that captured the masses for nearly a decade but eventually fizzled out left Carter on a quest as a solo artist with the simple goal of bringing good vibes and showing his most authentic self through his new music.
