Grateful for the Small Things

I am grateful for the morning light That slips across my floor, For quiet moments wrapped in peace And simple joys galore.

I am grateful for the changing tides, For oceans deep and wide, For every lesson life has brought And strength I've found inside.

I am grateful for the hands I've held, For hearts that walked beside me, For those who stayed through stormy days And loved me patiently.

I am grateful for the winding roads, The dreams that came and went, For even doors that closed too soon And all they taught and meant.

I am grateful for the laughter shared, The tears that helped me grow, For every season of my life And every chance to know.

I am grateful for this very day, This breath, this sky above, For life is richest when it's viewed Through thankful eyes and love.

And when the world feels hurried still, Or shadows cloud my view, I'll pause and count the gifts I have, Remembering what's true.

For grateful hearts possess a light No darkness can remove, A gentle flame that quietly glows With hope, and grace, and love. 🌷
