Hearing To Loving God also Jesus
AI
This podcast explores the biblical principle that genuine faith requires transitioning from passively hearing God's Word to actively obeying it. Using the transformation of Simon (meaning "Hearer") to Peter (meaning "Rock") as a central metaphor, the piece connects several scriptures—including the book of James, the Shema, and the Parable of the Two Sons—to illustrate that true love is proven through action. By examining the lives of figures like Enoch and Elijah, the author concludes that eternal life and conquering death are intrinsically linked to this fervent, active obeying, showing that we must not just listen to God's call, but actively do the work of His Kingdom.
