The bible mentions the lotus flower
the Song of Solomon describes a lotus blooming in a swamp. The lotus flower has been interpreted to represent Jesus' resurrection and rebirth, God's blessings can be found in places that are unexpected and undesirable
The primary flower representing Jesus is the Passionflower (Passiflora), while the Easter Lily is the classic symbol of His resurrection. The Passionflower specifically symbolizes the Crucifixion, with its physical structure interpreted by early missionaries to represent the events of His Passion
:Corona: The fringe-like filaments represent the Crown of Thorns.
Three Stigmas: Represent the three nails used to affix Jesus to the cross.

Kew Gardens
Additionally, Jesus is poetically referred to in the Bible as the "Rose of Sharon" and the "Lily of the Valleys" (Song of Solomon 2:1).
Ancient Symbolism and Cultural Use
- Rebirth and Creation: Because the flowers close and sink at dusk, only to rise and open again at dawn, ancient Egyptians linked them directly to the sun, creation, and the soul's eternal journey
