Episode notes
Welcome to the Homewood Cumberland Presbyterian Church Sermon Discussion Podcast, where we take a closer look at God’s Word and continue the conversation beyond Sunday morning.
In this episode, Rev. Derek Jacks sits down with members of the Faith Builders Sunday School Class to discuss the sermon “Neglect Not the Gift,” based on Hebrews 2:1–4. Together, they reflect on the warning of Hebrews to “pay much closer attention” to the gospel so that we do not drift away from the salvation we have received.
What does spiritual drifting look like in everyday life? How can we remain attentive to Christ and faithful to the gift of salvation? And how can the church help one another hold firmly to the gospel?
Join us for the conversation as we consider what it means to neglect not the gift.
