Host Andrea Surova: Heritage and Trip to War-torn Ukraine - Part 3 of 3

In Part 3 of 3, Homespun Culture host Andrea Surova speaks about her trip to visit family in Ukraine in April 2024, over two years into the war heartlessly and senselessly initiated by Russia. She describes what it was like to reunite with family she hadn’t seen in decades; how children related their experiences during the war; the day to day juxtaposition of love and war, stillness and air raid sirens, normalcy and normalization amidst air raid sirens, military checkpoints, and destruction; and the remarkable resilience, strength, and pride of the Ukrainian people.
