Episode notes
What better time than a Full Moon in Aries to explore dialectics, oppositions, and what happens when two seemingly contradictory truths meet each other. 🌕♈️♎️
Episode 13 of The Histrology Show is now available to watch or listen.
This episode we’re talking about Grace Lee Boggs—the fierce Cancer philosopher, writer, and activist who spent nearly a century thinking, organizing, and fighting for racial and economic justice.
And with an Aries Full Moon opposing the Libra Sun, the timing feels especially fitting. Grace’s work invites us into the tension between self and other, individual and collective, theory and practice, conflict and cooperation—not necessarily asking us to choose one side, but to explore what can emerge from the tension between them.
The Histrology Show is where we take famous people from history, talk about their life and legacy, and then dive into their astrological birth charts.
And of course, we look at the astrology. ♋️✨
We dive into Grace’s Cancer Sun, Capricorn Moon, and Libra Rising and the fascinating tension between care and responsibility, self and other, revolution and relationship.
Through her Libra Rising, we explore the dialectic itself: the idea that transformation happens through relationship, contradiction, tension, and our encounters with people who see the world differently than we do. Grace’s chart gives us another lens for understanding a woman whose philosophy was never static. She kept evolving, questioning, learning, and asking what each new historical moment required of us.
Her Cancer Sun brings us back to home, community, belonging, and the question of what we are actually trying to protect when we fight for a better world. Her Capricorn Moon adds discipline, endurance, and the ability to keep doing the work across nearly a century of enormous social change.
The Histrology Show blends humor, historical deep dives, and astrology to ask one question: What happens when we read history through the stars instead of the patriarchy?
