Pedro Costa was born with a 50% hearing loss but his love and passion for studying sound and playing music has only amped up and flourished through the years, even turning the passion into a profession becoming an acoustics engineer and becoming a CEO of his own company, Auricle, producing open-ear cartilage conduction headphones called.
They send sound through the ear cartilage instead of blocking your ear canal, while still maintaining a good audio quality.
Alongside Auricle, Pedro has a mission: To spread knowledgeable, factual and educational information about sound in all its wonderful facets.
In a time with an abundance of podcasts, there are not a lot of them surrounding sound, so Pedro invites experts within their field of sound to come in and just have fun nerding out about their passion.
And we want to share it with you!
