Good morning! I'm Aaron Jolly. And welcome to the Hawaii Weather Podcast — it's Tuesday, February 24th.
Folks, the islands are putting on a show today. Oahu wakes up wet — scattered showers until 11 A.M., then the sun punches through. You'll hit 77 degrees by noon with steady northeast winds at 18 miles an hour. Tonight stays mild at 67 degrees, but those clouds stick around.
The Big Island? Rain's the headline. Heavy showers hammer you until 1 A.M., then linger through the day. Highs only reach 72 degrees, with winds shifting north to northeast. Tonight drops to 63 degrees. And the showers aren't going anywhere.
Maui starts breezy and wet — scattered showers until 5 P.M., then clearing skies. Highs peak at 75 degrees with gusty northeast winds up to 22 miles an hour. Tonight cools to 62 degrees under partly cloudy skies.
