Olympian Deepak Bista is one of the most decorated sportsperson in Nepal. He won four consecutive gold medals in the South Asian Games and two bronze in Asian Games in his playing days. Bista, who is also the only male athlete to qualify for Olympics from Nepal is working as Taekwondo coach in recent years. Bista was promoted to Director of National Team Preparation by National Sports Council this week. We speak to him about his family, involvement in Taekwondo and some controversies in his career.
