Capitalism needs a permanent source of unpaid labor. Childbearing, child raising, cooking, cleaning, caregiving, emotional support. The invisible work that keeps society functioning. So patriarchy created an ideology and way to frame femininity through sexism: that being that women are naturally nurturing, women belong in the home, women don't have any need outside of their homely duties. Capitalism has long depended on women's unpaid labor and role in the home to succeed.

Anyone critical of capitalism needs to understand the intersectionality of the way that capitalism specifically exploits women and people of color. You can't fix one without addressing the other. Liberation isn't a single issue project. When systems are built in tandem, we have to dismantle them together.
