June is #LGBTPrideMonth. In this last week of June, we are going to celebrate Asian and Asian-American #LGBTQIA+ musicians and media. From 'Queercore' band Shh..Diam!, to all-trans K-Pop group SECRET GUYZ, Asian-American indie rock acts Jay Som and Mitski, Singapore synth-alt pop act Of Methodist, British-Japanese alt-pop artist Rina Sawayama, pop singer Hayley Kiyoko, and the late Freddie Mercury. Anime programs Ouran High School Host Club, Cardcaptor Sakura, Sailor Moon, Bloom Into You, Sweet Blue Flowers, Yuri on ICE!!!, Sakura Trick. Bollywood films Kapoor and Sons, Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga, and My Brother Nikhil.

This week's show is titled THE GHIBLI MIXTAPE. We take a look at the music from films produced by Studio Ghibli. #StudioGhibli was founded in 1985 by long time directors Hayao Miyazaki and Isao Takahata, and producer Toshio Suzuki. Studio Ghibli has produced some of the most beloved animated films of all time, including Castle in the Sky, My Neighbor #Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away, Ponyo, as well as Only Yesterday, Whisper of the Heart, When Marnie Was There.
