O How I Love Your Law | Psalm 119:97-104

Jacob Hatfield, Pastor at Grace Bible Church in Monticello MN, helps us grow in our affection for God's Word by giving practical tips and biblical encouragement from Psalm 119:97-104.

Low and Slow Kingdom | Matthew 13:23-42

Jesus’ kingdom rarely grows the way we expect. In Matthew 13:24–43, Jesus shows us a kingdom that starts small, works quietly, faces real opposition, and yet is certain to prevail. Rather than trying to rush the results, we’re called to trust King Jesus and patiently follow his ways.

Parable of the Sower | Matthew 13:1-9, 18-23

How do you receive the Word of God? In the Parable of the Sower (Matthew 13:1–9, 18–23), Jesus describes four kinds of soil that reveal four different responses to his Word. Discover how to cultivate a heart that receives God's Word, grows deep roots, and produces lasting fruit for the good of others and the glory of Jesus.

Kingdom Parables | Matthew 13:10-17

Why did Jesus speak in parables instead of simply making everything clear? In Matthew 13:10–17, Jesus shows us that his parables reveal more than stories—they reveal the nature of his kingdom and the hearts of those who hear. His kingdom has defined citizens, is marked by repentance and faith, and is already here with something even greater still to come.

Trusting Jesus | Matthew 12:15-50

Can you really trust Jesus with every part of your life? In Matthew 12:15–50, we see that Jesus is gentle enough to care for our weakness, strong enough to overcome evil, and powerful enough to transform our hearts. The question isn’t simply, “Can you trust Jesus?” but “Will you trust him?”

Jesus, the Lord of Love | Matthew 12:1-14

Jesus is the Lord of the law, and the heart of his law is love. In Matthew 12:1–14, Jesus confronts legalism and invites us to stop trying to prove ourselves and instead bring our weakness, sin, and shame to him for grace and restoration.

Rest for Your Soul | Matthew 11:25-30

Are you weary and heavy laden? Jesus invites you to come to him for rest. In this sermon on Matthew 11:25-30, Pastor Chris Glover calls each of us to explore and experience the heart of Jesus.

Devoted | Acts 2:42-47

Acts 2:42–47 gives us a beautiful picture of a church devoted to Jesus and to one another. In this message, we consider five rhythms that should shape our lives in every season: Word & Prayer, Worship, Fellowship, Love, and Mission—as we seek to Look to Jesus, Love One Another, and Live on Mission.

Responses to the King | Matthew 11:1-24

What will you do with Jesus? In Matthew 11:1–24, we see how Jesus responds to doubt, rejection, and unbelief—and why the right response is to come to him in repentance and faith. Jesus is the friend of sinners and the King of mercy.

End of the Road | Psalm 134

The Christian life isn’t just about making it to the end; it’s about becoming a certain kind of person along the way. In Psalm 134, the final Song of Ascent, we see how God forms us into faithful servants and worshipers who walk through life with the assurance that, in Christ, we live under the smile and blessing of God.
