Download your Good Talk Takeaway Guide! https://mailchi.mp/tiffanydsantana/goodtalkloki Recent events and public discourse have resurfaced painful reminders of how dehumanization and racism continue to show up in our society. For manyâespecially within the Black communityâthese moments are not abstract. They are personal, historical, and heavy. In this timely conversation, I sit down with Loki Mulholland, filmmaker, activist, and son of legendary civil rights worker Joan Trumpauer Mulholland. Rather than reacting with outrage alone, this episode invites us to pause and ask deeper questions: How do we respond to racism without losing our humanity? What does courage look like in moments of division? What responsibility do everyday people have in shaping a more just future? Loki shares powerful lessons from his motherâs lifeâlessons rooted in moral clarity, quiet bravery, and sustained action. This is not a conversation about politics. Itâs a conversation about people, principles, and personal responsibility. If youâve been feeling overwhelmed, angry, discouraged, or unsure of how to move forward, this episode offers something different: context, grounding, and a path toward meaningful action. đď¸ This is an invitation to listen. đď¸ To reflect. đď¸ And to choose courageâright where you are. Join the conversation: What stood out to you in this episode? How are you choosing to respond in this moment? Share your thoughts in the comments. I read and respond.
