    (227) “What You Exalt, You Empower”

When we magnify something, we see it bigger than it was before. So how do we “magnify the Lord?” You can find scriptures all throughout the Bible that say to exalt the Lord, but what does that mean exactly? (225) “If Nobody's Perfect, Why Does God Command It?”

“You therefore must be perfect, as your Heavenly Father is perfect.” Matthew 5:48 ESV In both the Old and New Testaments, we see places where God says He wants us to be perfect, but is that even possible? Sharon and Philip dig into these verses and get to the root of what “perfection” really means so you can have a better picture of what the Lord is saying. He wants you whole, complete, mature, and lacking in nothing. That’s something only He can do. And doesn’t that take the pressure off?! Come close to Jesus, let Him build His character in you, and you will become perfect as He completes His work in you.
