Speak Life Today

In Ephesians 4, Paul describes what a life transformed by Christ looks like in everyday relationships. He contrasts former patterns—such as dishonesty, anger, stealing, and harmful speech—with the new way believers are called to live.

Ephesians 4:29 gives special attention to our words. Paul is not simply telling us what language to avoid; he is directing us to speak in ways that build people up according to the need of the moment. The goal is not merely to sound positive, but to offer words that bring grace, encouragement, wisdom, and spiritual strength to those who hear them.
