Listener discretion is advised. ——— Mother’s Day, 1999, a car makes it’s way north from Adelaide, a city in southern Australia. 24 year old David Johnson accompanies his step brother, 19 year old Jamie Vlassakis on a drive to Clare, a town about 136 km north of Adelaide. David believes that Jamie is taking him to pick up a cheap computer, but Jamie has something far more evil in mind. It’s night as they reach Snowtown, a quiet town with a population of a couple hundred. They pull up outside an old brick building, once used as a bank. David Johnson will be the final victim in one of the most shocking and gruesome series of murders in the history of Australian crime. It will be two weeks before police are alerted to anything suspicious and search the former bank. What they find is horrific and will give the isolated rural community of Snowtown an international reputation for all the wrong reasons.
