LaSalle baseball is the middle of the winningest season in school history. Three straight Top recruiting classes. Talent depth the program hasn't seen before in its history. But instead of a time of joy as the Atlantic 10 North leading Explorers prepare for the postseason, it is a time of uncertainty. On Sept 29, 2020, the school and athletic department announced it was eliminating 7 programs at the end of the 2021 campaign. Baseball was one of them. Since then, a group of alums, led by James Santore, a 2016 grad, have been hard at work trying to figure a way to save the program. Now they're down to their final at bat. And there might be some new hope. Tune in to find out how we can save a Philly college baseball institution, one with so many South Jersey connections.
