...Bishop Shines begins this 25-week series for comparative religion with The Apostolic Church. He will use Acts 2:38 KJV for this message. Oneness Pentecostals use the formula of repentance and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. They believe Jesus is the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost. The law of doctrine or interpretation should have two to three witnesses. It is impossible to argue that Jesus is the Father and the Holy Spirit; they all have separate functions according to the Word of God.
