Episode notes
A Dub-themed edition of the Front Page Football Podcast is here!
Today, host Christian Marchetti is joined by FPF writer Cody Ojeda to first address the latest controversy in the A-Leagues which has seen broadcast production company Global Advance enter administration, leaving the APL to enter into a new agreement with NEP until season's end (1:30).
Then, they pivot to the A-League Women, taking all the permutations heading into the final weekend of Dub action for 2023/24 (11:28). Christian and Cody consider the final top six positions, discussing Melbourne Victory's chances of missing out altogether, Newcastle's big opportunity in Adelaide, and whether Robbie Hooker's Wanderers can secure a Finals spot to punctuate their impressive season.
Later on, they discuss why a Championship may be a step too far for an injury-plagued Western United, predict possible Elimination Final matchups, and explain why the road for a title still goes through Sydney FC.
We'll be back on Monday with our A-League Men review!
