2026 World Cup,US Men 1st knockout stage win since 2002-Advance to RD of 16, Red Card controversy
Episode notes
What's up Sports Fans! The World Cup has been amazing so far!! The US fans have been awesome supporting the US Men's National Team! Soccer is definitely growing in the US and with the Men's team doing well it will continue to grow. The US Men won their first knockout stage game since 2002 against Bosnia a couple of days ago. There was some controversy with our best offensive striker, Balogun getting a red card in the middle of the 2nd half. The biggest thing is he will have to sit for the RD of 16 game against a very dangerous, Belgium team! I think we have good subs though and a deep team. I like our chances. In other games, Germany was upset by Paraguay in penalty kicks. Belgium come from behind victory against Senegal in penalty kicks. England comes from behind againt DR Congo to win 2-1. All of the Round 32 games have been pretty good. Biggest question is can the US beat Belgium in Seattle? The US Mens team are 7-0 in Seattle so far. The Seattle fans are crazy about soccer and the US Men's team love playing in Seattle!
