Episode notes
Chandler goes missing on his wedding day, found hiding in his office trying to prove he and Monica are related to avoid the ceremony. Ross talks him down step by step, Rachel runs interference for the bride with increasingly desperate distractions, and Joey fights to escape a film set where his co-star is too drunk to finish a single scene. Chandler nearly makes it to the altar before overhearing a rumor that Monica is pregnant, triggering a second disappearance — one he resolves alone, returning ready to marry her.
The wedding closes the season but the real payload is the final scene: the pregnancy test everyone assumed was Monica's turns out to be Rachel's, reframing the entire episode and setting up the central storyline of season eight. The episode also pays off Chandler's commitment arc, showing that his eventual steadiness is earned through two full panic spirals rather than a clean resolution.
