Sometimes an interview or an artist doesn't really need an introduction. Zeena Parkins is one of those artists. For decades, she has been exploring new aural terrain and creating her own unique frameworks for composition and improvisation. The scope of her work is vast, and its impact deeply felt. Last month, Chaikin Records released a boxed set of her incredible LACE project.
