FMC Fast Chat: Trust In News? In America? Let's Discuss

What is it about the news today that makes Americans so lose their minds? In this episode of FMC Fast Chat, we ask the expert: Dr. Benjamin Toff, Senior Research Fellow at the Reuters Institute for the Study of Journalism at the University of Oxford. Dr. Toff chats with us on the latest Trust in News survey results, and what it is about the news today that polarizes American audiences. Ok, politics and political leaders play a big role, but there's more to it than that: Generational differences, geography and even gender differences come into play. The study looks at attitudes about news in the US, UK, India, and Brazil and finds distrust isn't even the biggest problem the news media faces from today's public. Take a listen to find out more. This is the podcast of the Fair Media Council More About the Trust in News Project ABOUT DR.
