In the lead-up to his first-ever training camp as head coach of the North Bay Battalion, Ryan Oulahen joins the Frontline to kick off the new season for the podcast! In the show, Oulahen discusses the excitement level for the staff and players heading into a long-awaited camp, along with an insight into what fans and players can expect from him as camp, and the beginning of the season starts. After Coach Oulie departs, Tom and Kortney discuss the new rules from the OHL where everyone in an arena must be fully vaccinated, and talk about Battalion alumni Adam McMaster and his new landing spot!
Fresh off his selection in the 2021 NHL Draft, Joe Vrbetic sits down to discuss everything from his draft day to his mindset coming into camp with the Battalion. The big question is...will "Vrbs" get an autograph from Carey Price? Later on, Tom and Kortney discuss a trade made by the Troops, and Matvey Petrov being selected by the Edmonton Oilers!
A fan favourite and the most recent captain of the Troops joins the Frontline this week! Luke Moncada breaks down his time in Cleveland, city life and playing for the Monsters, his future in hockey, breaking down his OHL career and more. Finally, Moncada gives a farewell to the 7th man!
Mason Primeau joins the podcast this week to discuss his past season with Henderson in the AHL, and Fort Wayne in the ECHL!
