The greatest threats to the gospel don't always come from false teachers. Sometimes they come from believers whose lives contradict the message they profess. In Galatians 2, the Apostle Paul publicly confronts Peter; not because Peter preached a false gospel, but because his behavior denied the implications of the true one. Peter believed salvation was by grace through faith alone, yet fear led him to act as though some Christians were more acceptable to God than others.
