Throughout his traumatic childhood of abandonment and cruelty, Steven Spellman knew there was something else to live for, some better life. As a young adult, his life was a contrast: selling marijuana, doing crime to put himself through college. As it spiraled downward, he just wanted to escape what he called a "life worse than death." He was shot during a robbery attempt at 19. As he lay dying, he received Jesus, but asked to not live. Isn't it like God to have other plans? Sharing the Gospel: Just Move the Ball Forward

Lawyer and CEO Stephen Casey is compelled by love. He has pushed past the nervousness, the social awkwardness, and the anxiety of asking to pray for complete strangers. In this episode, he helps you see how you can do the same. It’s just a matter of doing, of practicing. Boldness is like a muscle you develop over time. Stephen dispels the fear of feeling like you fail if the person doesn’t receive Christ in the moment. Using a sports analogy, he suggests just “moving the ball forward.” It’s Holy Spirit Who brings the harvest anyway.
