Field Notes From Chicago by Maizie Hummel-Logee
Episode notes
On today's episode we hear about the history of bikes in the Unites States, and in Chicago which was once the bike capital of the world! I then talk with Nah Hummel from West Town Bikes about the community they are creating and how access to a bike can expand your ability to go further in the city and interact with nature wherever you are. I end the show with some suggestions of rides in chicago and talk about my first experiences on long bike rides with the rails to trails program In Missouri.
