Throughout the month of March we will be watching and discussing film and TV that represents International Womens Day. To start us off we are discussing the Movie Little Women Jo March reflects back and forth on her life, telling the beloved story of the March sisters - four young women, each determined to live life on her own terms. To wrap up LGBT month we watched The Runaways. A coming-of-age biographical film about the 1970s teenage all-girl rock band The Runaways. The relationship between band members Cherie Currie and Joan Jett is also explored.
Its a Musical Movie week with Lauren and Jade! The story of the legendary British rock band Queen and lead singer Freddie Mercury, leading up to their famous performance at Live Aid (1985).
