Divine Appointments Await in Cultural Understanding

I recently had an inspiring chat with Wendy Zahorjanski about embracing cultural diversity. As someone who grew up in a small town in Vermont with little exposure to other cultures, Wendy had her perspective expanded when she moved overseas. Initially, she experienced total culture shock - exhausted, unable to communicate effectively, and stripped of her independence. But Endy shares how this challenging experience revealed her pride and self-reliance, forcing her to lean on God and her community. Through it all, Wendy found incredible grace from the Lord. She realized God loves us as we are, even in our weakness, as He works to bring healing and growth. Wend says immersing herself in another culture enriched her faith, helping her distinguish cultural Christianity from actual Biblical truths. I was so encouraged by Wendy's humility and trust in God's patient guidance. She urges us to seek the Lord about opportunities to understand other cultures, even if we never leave our hometowns. When we ask and wait on Him, God can orchestrate divine appointments. Fired Up! First Steps to Drive Change in Your Local Community

I recently had such an inspiring chat with Dr. Lynn Carey about making a positive change in politics. As someone who's questioned the mainstream narrative her whole life, Dr. Carey shared an eye-opening perspective on what unfolded in 2020. Like many of us, she was disturbed by the lockdowns and mandates being celebrated and enforced. It felt like an attack on basic freedoms. Trying to speak out led to losing connections, feeling isolated and unsure where to turn next. Eventually Dr. Carey found a community discussing election integrity, constitutional rights, and going local to create change. She explains how getting involved with your county government and school boards is vital. Understanding the constitution better equips you to recognize violations happening locally. I love Dr. Carey's focus on taking positive action, even when it feels like an uphill battle. She encourages finding like-minded neighbors and picking manageable ways to make a difference in your community. Whether you attend local government meetings, help with elections, or run for office yourself, we all have power to shape what's happening close to home. Small consistent efforts can create ripples of lasting change. Dr. Carey's optimism and practical tips left me feeling fired up! I hope her words inspire you too. You Can't Do Church Online: Why In-Person Fellowship Matters with Dub Karriker

Dub shares some fascinating insights from his experience as a pastor and author. We discuss why Jesus established the church in the first place, what role it should play in believers' lives, and how Christians today often fail to reflect Christ's love. A few key takeaways: - The church represents God's kingdom on earth and gives us a mission and purpose. Community is essential. - Western churches frequently judge others harshly instead of showing humility and kindness. This hurts our witness. - You can't truly experience church online. In-person fellowship is vital for relationship and accountability. Dub explains all this very clearly and offers practical wisdom.
