A sentence to federal prison may seem like a dead end to most people, but for Portia Louder, it became the start of an incredible journey.

Over the course of 4 1/2 years, Portia learned about who she really was, how to not give up on herself, and how to find strength and empowerment through the twin powers of acceptance and accountability. She now shares her journey with as many people she can, specifically focusing on empowering at risk youth, women struggling with addiction and trauma, and any person struggling to find purpose after incarceration.
