I recently completed an 1,800-mile road trip, and with EV fast-charger pricing a hot topic right now, I wanted to see how my charger choices could affect the trip's cost.

Using a real-world example, I calculated my costs if I chose to use a specific brand of chargers exclusively. The final numbers surprised me, but there are ways to keep that cost down. I discuss those too.

With competition getting established in the charging space, would that have made a big difference?
