Lived Experiences: Rio Antoné
Episode notes
We now return with our newest Lived Experiences story! Get hype! This time, I spoke with the amazing Rio Antoné (uses universal pronouns) who is a multimodal artist, changemaker, award-winning advocate, storyteller, educator, artist, and media personality. Rio's own powerful experiences transcend mental health challenges, self-discovery, and public health experiences as we discussed:
- growing up Black and Queer in Flint, Michigan
- working in the sexual health space related to HIV and STI testing
- what it means to be non-binary
- Rio's upcoming book, Manifest Destiny: Crafting the Life You've Always Imagined
Enjoy!! 😊
